The match marks the 33rd all-time meeting between the two programs, dating back to the first contest in 1985 - a 3-0 Engineer victory. Smith has dominated with a 26-6 overall mark, but has lost the last two meetings.

LAST SMITH WIN
Rosa Drummond posted a double-double and combined with Kristi Hammond to hit .348 as the Pioneers defeated WPI 3-0 on October 17, 2013.
SCOUTING THE ENGINEERS
WPI suffered their first loss in four games Tuesday night as Babson blanked the Engineers 3-0. Senior outside hitter Maddy Werth and sophomore outside hitter Casey Hunt each posted five kills to go along with a dozen assists by senior setter Shay Feeley. Werth and Hunt are hitting .285 and .147, respectively while Shay Feeley and Azita Bakhtyari combine for 9.14 assists per set.
SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
Smith remains on the hunt for their first New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) win tonight against the Engineers. The Pioneers played their full active roster in a 3-0 loss to Framingham State University Tuesday evening. In that game, first-year middle blocker
