Ray Silveria (Dunstable, Mass./Groton-Dunstable) scored a pair of goals to become the 11th member of Smith's 100-point club in the Pioneers' 20-3 loss to Babson on April 11, 2015. 

All-Time Series
In a series that dates back to the 1987 season, Babson leads 20-3 and has won the last 15 meetings. Smith's last win came on April 26, 2001, 9-8. 

The Beavers
At 8-3, Babson has won four straight after their 11-5 victory over Wellesley Wednesday afternoon and are off to their first 4-0 start in conference play since 2012. Against Wellesley, McKenzie Tucci matcher her season high with three goals and first-year Lauren Drakeley caused a career-high five turnovers. Charlotte O'Halloran leads Babson with 12 goals, 16 assists for 28 points. The Green and White return 16 players and nine starters, including four that contributed 20 or more points last season. The Beavers are now 7-0 on the year when leading or tied at the half. The Green and White is allowing just 6.25 goals and leads the league with 44 caused turnovers in NEWMAC contests. Head Coach Michelle Smith is in her fifth season at the helm of the lacrosse program. The Beavers were picked to finish fourth in the Preseason Coaches' Poll.

The Pioneers
Smith looks to pick up their first conference win of the season and snap a five game losing streak after their 20-9 loss to MIT on Wednesday evening. In that game, first-year Chloe Harris (Alexandria, Va./West Potomac) paced the Pioneers with three goals and an assist. Siveria continues her streak as she has now recorded a points in 20 consecutive games. Sophomore Julia Hamilton (Williamstown, Mass./Deerfield Academy) leads the NEWMAC in goals (39), points (49) and shots (73) and is just 17 points away from 100 in her career. Silveria is fifth in the conference in goals (32) and second in points (45) and shots (68). In 498:42, goalkeeper Sarah Price (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson) has a 12.51 goals against average and .493 save percentage. The Pioneers average 10.50 goals and 22.7 shots per game. 

Playing for Gold
The Smith College lacrosse, softball and tennis teams will tie up their cleats and shoes for the "Playing for Gold" event Saturday. These contests will see the Pioneers don gold shoelaces in support of the Go4theGoal Foundation and its mission to improve the lives of children battling cancer.
