Ray Silveria (Dunstable, Mass./Groton-Dunstable) scored a team-high three goals in the Pioneers' 19-10 loss to Wellesley on April 4, 2015.

All-Time Series
In a series dating back to the 1981 season, Wellesley leads 42-9. Smith's last win came on April 28, 1994 as the Blue have won 31 straight games. 

The Blue
At 5-5 overall and 0-2 in NEWMAC play, both teams will be looking for their first conference win of the season Saturday. Wellesley has lost four straight after their 20-9 defeat to MIT Wednesday. In that game, junior Nikki Sharkin recorded a hat trick and scooped up a team-high four ground balls. Goalkeeper Wendy Nettleton is third in the conference in save percentage (47.9) and fourth in saves (68). Sharkin leads the Blue with 25 goals while Mary Lemay has added 16 goals and nine assists so far this season. Lauren Schoenberger is in her first season at the helm of the lacrosse program. Wellesley averages 8.80 goals and 22.2 shots per game. 

The Pioneers
Smith (4-6, 0-2) aims to win their first conference game of the season and snap a three game losing streak following their 11-7 non-conference loss to Westfield State Tuesday. In that game, goalkeeper Sarah Price (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson) recorded a career-high 22 saves while Julia Hamilton (Williamstown, Mass./Deerfield Academy) netted a hat trick. Hamilton leads the NEWMAC with 34 goals and 44 points while Ray Silveria (Dunstable, Mass./Groton-Dunstable) is tied for third with 28 tallies and tied for second with 39 points. Silveria continues her streak as she has now recorded a point in 17 consecutive games. The Pioneers average 10.80 goals and 22.60 shots per game.
