About the Pioneers: After winning their opening match of the season, Smith looks to get back in the win column and earn their first NEWMAC win today at Springfield. Four members of the tennis team competed at the ITA Regionals this past weekend against highly talented competition. Smith's last conference came against Emerson College on October 3, 2015. The pioneers were piked to finish seventh in the Preseason Coaches Poll.
About the Pride: Springfield has won four straight after their 9-0 sweep over Saint Joseph's (Conn.) on Saturday. The Pride were selected to finish sixth in the Preseason Coaches Poll.
