• The Smith College volleyball team looks for their first conference win of the season tonight at Coast Guard.

 

• First-year Caleigh Johnson (Georgetown, Tex./St. Dominic Savio Catholic) is hitting .273 on the season with 170 kills while Amy Hagen (Owings, Md./Northern) leads the Pioneers with 175 kills.

 

• Smith was selected to finish 10th in the NEWMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll, while Emerson was picked fifth.

 

• Bridget Boyle ranks fifth in the NEWMAC in kills with 257.

 

• Senior Michelle McGill moved into third place on the Bears all-time digs list this past Saturday.
