• The Smith College volleyball team will honor their three seniors tonight against Mount Holyoke.

 

• The Pioneers were selected to finish 10th in the NEWMAC Preseason Poll, while MHC was picked 11th.

 

• The duo of first-year athletes Caleigh Johnson (Georgetown, Tex./St. Dominic Savio Catholic) and Amy Hagen (Owings, Md./Northern) have combined for 410 kills this season.

 

• Sophomore middle hitter Sasha Simine ranks fourth in the NEWMAC in hitting percentage (.335) with 188 kills this season.

 

• Simine and junior middle hitter Jamesa Allen lead the conference with 1.03 and 1.00 blocks per set, respectively.
