THE SERIES
The game marks the fourth meeting between the two programs, dating back to the first contest during the 2014 season - a 21-11 Emerson victory. The Lions lead the all-time series 3-0.

LAST MEETING
Despite six goals from sophomore Julia Hamilton (Williamstown, Mass./Deerfield Academy), the Smith College lacrosse team dropped a NEWMAC contest to Emerson College, 19-11, on April 2, 2016. Senior Guerin Morissette finished with five goals, while junior Meredith Weber and freshman Emily Quinn each added four for the visitors.

Goalkeeper Kristina Modica tops the NEWMAC with 80 saves and owns a .444 save percentage and 12.50 goals against average. Emerson was picked to finish 5th in the NEWMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
The Smith College lacrosse team looks for a win against Emerson for the first time in program history.
