The Smith College tennis team was unable to overcome the dominant play of the Connecticut College Camels in the Pioneers' 9-0 loss on April 3, 2016.
Noa Dubin (Southampton, N.Y./Southampton) was able to win one game, while
Sarah Cassidy-Seyoum (Woodbury, Conn.) had two in her favor.
SCOUTING THE CAMELS
Connecticut College (4-2) enters Saturday's match following a spring break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina where the Camels went 3-2. The team secured a 6-3 victory over Allegheny College on March 20 sparked by shut out wins from Emily Migliorini and Susanna Studwell.
SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
Smith aims to win their fourth consecutive match dating back to the fall Saturday against Conn. College. The Pioneers won their spring opener over Simmons College, 6-3, on March 8.
Noa Dubin (Southampton, N.Y./Southampton) led the charge at the No. 1 singles position, winning 6-0, 6-0 in 35 minutes against her opponent.
Margaret Anne Smith (Spring Lake, N.J./High Technology) was the second Pioneer to go 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 2 slot.

The Pioneers suffered a 7-2 defeat to Colby-Sawyer College on April 2, 2016 in non-conference action.
The two wins came from
Samantha Peikes (West Hartford, Conn./Watkinson School) and
Morgan Barney (North Attleboro, Mass./North Attleboro).
SCOUTING THE CHARGERS
The Colby-Sawyer women's tennis team (13-4) wrapped up a four match trip to Orlando with a pair of matches against Ithaca College and Edgewood College. The Chargers were edged by Ithaca, 6-3, but rebounded with a 7-2 win over Edgewood on Friday. Against Edgewood, Colby-Sawyer would win five of the six singles matches led by Ashley Woodside's 6-1, 6-0 win at the top flight.
