HOW IT HAPPENED

Three different Smith players scored during the stretch as the home team took a 3-1 lead going into halftime.
Harris opened the scoring in the second half before Maiewski responded just under a minute later to make it a 4-2 lead for Smith. A four goal run from Smith over eight minutes gave them an 8-2 cushion at the 17:54 mark. The Sharks went on to score three of the next four goals, but Smith finished on a high note and tallied four goals over the final 10 minutes of the game.
