SCOUTING MIT
The Engineers enter tonight's contest looking for a win after four-straight losses. MIT played last Wednesday at Wellesley, an 18-16 loss to the Blue. In that game, Emily Young finished with four goals and seven draw controls. MIT is averaging 20 goals per game against the Pioneers in the last three meetings. Young leads the Engineers with 32 goals and 43 points while goalkeeper Eva Boal owns a 14.70 goals against average and .395 save percentage. MIT was selected to finish 3rd in the Preseason Coaches' Poll.
SCOUTING SMITH
The Smith College lacrosse program aims to pick up their first conference win of 2017 this evening against MIT. The Pioneers suffered a 20-13 loss to Wellesley on Saturday. In that game,
Chloe Harris (Alexandria, Va./West Potomac) finished with six goals for the fifth time this season. Harris ranks second in the NEWMAC in goals (40), assists (22), and first in points (62). Goalkeeper
Sarah Price (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson) tops the conference in save percentage .495 and is second in total saves 106. The Pioneers were picked to finish 8th in the NEWMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
