SERIES: The game marks the 3rd meeting between the two programs, dating back to the first contest during the 2015 season - a 16-10 Smith victory. The Pioneers lead the all-time series 2-0.

LAST MEETING
The Smith College lacrosse team earned their first New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) win of the season, taking down Coast Guard, 11-4 on April 23, 2016. First-year Katie Christensen (East Lyme, Conn./East Lyme) scored a game high three goals while goalkeeper Sarah Price (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson) made stopped four of the 12 shots she faced.

SCOUTING COAST GUARD
The Bears look for their first win against Smith in program history on Saturday after a 14-1 loss to Babson on Wednesday. Coast Guard's lone goal scorer on the night was freshman Abigail Bradford who now has 21 goals and 26 points on the year. Daria McKenna is second on the team with 18 goals and eight assists for 26 points while goalkeeper Hannah Delguercio owns an 11.80 goals against average and .433 save percentage. The Pride were selected to finish 9th in the NEWMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

SCOUTING SMITH
The Pioneers look to earn their first conference in of the season today against Coast Guard. Smith faced Springfield College on Wednesday evening, resulting in a 13-2 loss. In that game, Clelie Fielding (Francestown, N.H./High Mowing School) and Chloe Harris (Alexandria, Va./West Potomac) each scored for the Pioneers. Harris ranks second in the conference in goals (48), third in assists (22), and leads the NEWMAC with 70 points. Junior goalkeeper Sarah Price (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson) leads the league in saves (149) and is second with a .495 save percentage. The Pioneers were picked to finish 8th in the NEWMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Harris is three assists away from the school record for assists in a season (26)
- Junior Julia Hamilton (Williamstown, Mass./Deerfield Academy ) needs seven goals for 100 in her career
- Price is two wins away from the school record for most wins in a season
