FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

• After nearly a week off, the Smith College field hockey team hits the road for the second time this season as the Pioneers travel to Connecticut College Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

 

• Senior goalkeeper Cameo Tietje (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) ranks second in the NEWMAC with 25 saves.

 

• This will be the second consecutive NESCAC opponent the Pioneers have faced this season.

 

• Head Coach Jaime Ginsberg enters her 10th season at the helm of the Pioneers and is seven wins away from 75 in her career at Smith.

 

• The Camels dropped a pair of 4-1 decisions on the road, falling to Babson and #4 Middlebury last week. Enya McGarry and Caroline Ferro each scored for Connecticut College.
