Box Score WORCESTER, Mass. - The Smith College soccer team concluded the 2018 season with a 2-0 loss to Clark University in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action Friday night. The Cougars improve to 9-7-1 on the season and 4-6 in the NEWMAC , while the Pioneers end the year with an 8-10 mark overall and 3-7 record in the league.

38' - CLARK - Jamie Joseph registered her third goal of the season on a pass from Macy Golman.

89' - CLARK - After a Smith foul, Sarah Berube converted on a free kick from 25 yards out.


NOTABLE 

• Clark owned a 16-9 advantage on shots and 8-5 edge on corners.
• Sophomore Peyton McBride (Manchester, N.H./Goffstown) led the Pioneers with two shots on goal.
• First-year Naomi Falkenberg (Sutton, Mass./Sutton Memorial) played the full-time in frame, collecting five saves with two goals against.
• Smith drops to 9-9-4 all-time against Clark.
