Tennis Wraps Up Play at 2018 Seven Sisters Championship

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - The Smith College tennis team wrapped up competition at the 2018 Seven Sisters Tennis Championship Sunday afternoon at the Indoor Track and Tennis Facility. Vassar College clinched their 15th title with a 4-1 victory over Wellesley in the final match of the day to finish the tournament undefeated at 4-0.

Wellesley's 3-1 record was good for second place overall. Mount Holyoke finished 2-2 for third, while Bryn Mawr was 1-3 for fourth. The Pioneers rounded out the field in fifth with an 0-4 mark.

In Smith's match against Mount Holyoke, Samantha Peikes earned the only point for the Pioneers as she took down Anya Gerasimova, 6-2, 6-3.
