NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - The Smith College tennis team will play their first dual match of the season Friday night at 8:00 p.m. against Bates at Mount Holyoke College.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

• Bates and Smith will meet for the fifth time on Friday in a series that dates back to the 2011 season.

 

• The Bobcats are 4-0 all-time against the Pioneers.

 

• Smith's enters tonight's contest after hosting the 2018 Seven Sisters Championship last weekend.

 

• After a hard-fought tournament, the Pioneers ended with an 0-4 record with losses to Mount Holyoke, Vassar, Wellesley and Bryn Mawr.

 

• Allison Ahern was named to the Seven Sisters All-Tournament team.
