Beatrice Chaudoin (Millersville, Md./Severna Park) scored early for the Pioneers but SUNY Cortland stormed back for a 4-1 win over the home squad in the championship game of the 2nd Annual Caryl Newhof Classic Sunday afternoon. Smith drops to 1-1 on the season while the Red Dragons improve to 2-0.

Bryn Murray (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury) inserted the ball to the top of the circle. Chaudoin controlled it and ripped a shot past the Cortland goalkeeper.
