NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - Sophomore
Amy Hagen (Owings, Md./Northern) totaled 23 kills and junior
Kimani Freeman (Newark, N.J./Montclair Kimberly Academy) finished with 45 assists as the Smith College volleyball team split a tri-match with Wheaton College and Plymouth State University. The Lyons took the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) match 25-22, 25-15, and 25-16 and the Pioneers prevailed 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-21) in the final match of the day over the Panthers. Smith is now 2-13 overall and 0-5 in the NEWMAC.

- Sophomore Caleigh Johnson (Georgetown, Tex./St. Dominic Savio Catholic) registered seven kills and two blocks.

- The Pioneers hit .043 compared to .248 for the Lyons.
