NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - The Smith College volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Emerson College in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) contest on Tuesday evening in Ainsworth Gymnasium. The Lions prevailed 25-17, 25-17,25-19.

Ava Zollinger (Orlando, Fla./Lake Highland Prep) produced a team-high six kills
2. Classmate
Evi Evgeniou (Thessaloniki, Greece/Pinewood International) dished out 18 assists to go along with nine digs
3. Junior
Caleigh Johnson (Georgetown, Texas/St. Dominic Savio Catholic) added three blocks

The Pioneers host the annual Hall of Fame Tournament Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19. Smith will matchup with Gordon on Friday at 5:00 p.m.
