NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - The Smith College field hockey team netted four goals in the fourth quarter to race past Westfield State in the opening game of the 3rd Annual Caryl Newhof Classic Saturday afternoon. Vivian Nelson (Edmonton, Canada/Strathcona) made quite a statement in the first game of her senior season as she finished with a hat trick and added two assists.
