ONEONTA, NY. - The Smith College soccer team claimed a share of the Erinn K. Brozman Cup with a 1-1 draw against Hartwick on Sunday afternoon. The hosts led 1-0 at the break until senior Zufan Bazzano (Great Barrington, Mass./Monument Mountain) connected on a penalty kick in the 55th minute. 

SCORING SUMMARY

• 31:29 - Smith 0 Hartwick - 1 - Nicole Casab drilled a free kick into the top right corner
• 54:35 - Smith 1 Hartwick 1 - The Pioneers were awarded a PK after Hartwick's goalkeeper took down a Smith player in the box. Bazzano's equalizer slid into the lower left corner of the net.

GAME NOTES

• The Hawks ended with a 12-6 advantage in shots and 10-7 edge in corners.
• Goalkeeer Naomi Falkenberg (Sutton, Mass./Sutton) made four saves in the win
