NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - The Smith College tennis team was upended by Babson, 8-1, in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) match on Tuesday.
The Pioneers are now 3-4 overall and 0-2 in league play.
Doubles Highlights
- The Pioneers were able to win at the No. 1 doubles position as the pair of Clara and Lili Goshgarian (Lake Forest, IL/Lake Forest) earned a hard-fought 8-6 victory
- Babson claimed an 8-5 decision at No. 2 and 8-1 at No. 3
Singles Highlights
- The Beavers swept all six singles matches for the 8-1 match win
