Morgan Morrison (Detroit, Mich./Detroit Country Day) scored a game-high 20 points to lead a group of three players who scored in double figures as Smith College outlasted Hamilton College, 68-52, in non-conference basketball action Tuesday evening. The Pioneers, ranked No. 8 in the latest D3Hoops.com and WBCA Top 25 Poll, improve to 13-1 on the year and have won seven-straight. Hamilton drops to 7-6.

- Morrison made 9-of-18 shots from the field and grabbed 17 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the year. Her five blocked shots ties the single-game record
- Clairmont finished with 12 points and six rebounds, while Ruffner added 10 points, three boards and seven assists
- Smith held the edge in rebounds (45-36), points in the paint (44-34), and second chance points (12-2)
- The Pioneers shot 42.2 percent (27-of-64) from the floor, 16.7 percent (2-of-12) from behind the arc, and 75.0 percent (12-of-16) at the charity stripe
- Hamilton shot 34.4 percent (21-of-61) from the floor, 9.1 percent (1-of-11) from three-point range, and 64.3 percent (9-of-14) from the free throw line
