The closest doubles match of the day came in the number three position. The Smith pair of Dayana Caluna (Planfield, NJ/College Achieve) and Miranda Gibson (Bethlehem, PA/Moravian Academy) came out strong playing aggressive doubles to give them the early lead. Baker and Brennan of Trinity slowly started to find their groove and work their way back into the match and eventually earning the doubles sweep for Trinity with their 8-6 win.

In the first flight of singles, positions 1-3 came out strong to keep Smith in the match.

In one singles, Lili Goshgarian (Lake Forest, IL/Lake Forest) put up a tough battle against Hartman from Trinity. After dropping the first set 6-3 and being down 5-2 in the second, L. At the start of the third set, Lili stayed steady, exchanging games with Hartman. After going up 2-1, Hartman won 4 straight games to go up 5-2. Lili, seeing herself in a similar position as in set 2, buckled down and disrupted momentum again to make the score 5-3. With Hartman serving, she was able to close out the match and clinch the win for Trinity.

Marielle Sauber (The Woodlands, TX/The John Cooper School) played in the team's second three-setter of the day. After going down 4-1 in the first set, Sauber battled back to make the score even before the number three from Trinity won the first set. Sauber really found her groove going into the second and was able to take momentum and the second set 6-2 forcing a third. Shyltsyna came back strong in the third. Sauber continued to battle right until the very end until Shyltsyna secured the match.
