NORTHAMPTON - No. 5 Williams College received two goals from Pilar Torres in a a7-0 field hockey result against Smith on Wednesday evening.

Game Highlights

• Williams scored the game's first goal in the sixth minute off a cross by Kiki Higgins found the stick of Meaghan Boehm
• Less than a minute later, the Ephs were awarded a penalty corner, setting up Kiki Higgins to slip the ball to Torres who found the back of the net
• The pair connected again to go up 3-0
• Williams added three goals in the second and one in the fourth to secure the seventh goal of the game
• Smith held the Ephs scoreless in the final period
• Rory Harper (Wayne, PA/Radnor) made 14 saves in the loss, including a fourth quarter stop on a penalty stroke 
• Williams held a commanding 26-1 advantage in shots on goal and earned 14 corners
