WESTFIELD, MA — First-year Indie Lamb (Barrington, RI/Barrington High School) and junior Annika Wells (Ashland, OR/Ashland High School) represented Smith College in the Women's 5K at the James Earley Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Lamb paced the Bears with a time of 22:19.44, placing 82nd overall, while Wells finished in 23:04.76 to take 100th in a highly competitive field.
The performances mark another step forward for the Bears' young roster as they continue to build momentum heading into the championship portion of the season.

The Bears travel down to New London, Connecticut as they will partake in the Connecticut College Invitational, next Saturday October 18th.
