Box Score NORTHAMPTON, MA - On Monday afternoon, Smith was able to pick up a non-conference win over the Endicott Gulls, 7-0. Smith continues to make strides as they push for a NEWMAC playoff position.
How it Happened
- Smith battled with Endicott in doubles to begin the day.
- Marielle Sauber (The Woodlands, TX/The John Cooper School) and Natazya Simunyola (Lorton, VA/South County High School) battled in number one singles, eventually winning 6-2.
- The third singles matchup was the big one for doubles as Sophia Dube (Portland, OR/Oregon Episcopal School) and Tabotha Buttress had a close match, eventually winning 7-6, winning on a tie break.
- In singles play, Simunyola had quite the battle on her hands as it was the longest match of the day with the cores being 4-6, 6-2 and then 10-8 with Simunyola clinching that final point.
- Clara and Lily Goshgarian were both able to gather wins in both singles and doubles.
- Alexa Konstantopolous picked up a win in number six singles with a score of 6-0.

Smith (5–8) returns home next week as they take on NEWMAC opponent Salve Regina. First serve is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15th at 4:30pm.
