CAMBRIDGE. — The Smith College soccer team Smith College (0-5-1, 0-1-0) was defeated by No. 13 MIT (7-1-0, 1-0-0) on Saturday afternoon in the NEWMAC opener for both teams.
1st Half
- MIT scored five goals in the first half to take a commanding lead.
- The Engineers recorded four corner kicks, maintaining offensive pressure.
2nd Half
- MIT scored three goals in the second half, increasing their lead to 8-0.
- Bears' Grazioso registered a shot on goal but was saved by MIT's goalkeeper Kaitlyn Strine.
