MARLBOROUGH, Mass.— Four members of the Smith College swimming & diving team were recognized when the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced its weekly awards on Monday afternoon.

The Bear's unit of Maggie Cline (Santee, CA/West Hills), Abby Caputo, Emma Schultz (Hyattsville, MD/Elizabeth Seton), and Madeleine Lucas (Salem, MA/Salem) was named Relay Team of the Week. Smith's 200 free relay contingent took first place over Wellesley and Springfield in 1:43.84. Smith's victory over the Pride was the first dating back to 1986. 

Smith has a dual meet record of 8-3 this season and wrap up the regular season at Mount Holyoke on Saturday, February 7.
