Four Bears Named to CSC Academic All-District® Volleyball Team

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – Four members of the Smith College volleyball team have been recognized for their outstanding achievements in the classroom and on the court, earning spots on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team, the organization announced Thursday.

Senior Miranda Oakes (San Francisco, CA/San Francisco University), along with juniors Ruth Tullis (Edmond, OK/Oklahoma Christian School)Anna Feuer (Frederick, MD/Governor Thomas Johnson) and Addison Klunder (Los Angeles, CA/The Buckley School), represented the Bears among the 34 student-athletes selected from the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC).

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance on the court and in the classroom. To be eligible, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher and be a key contributor to their team's competitive success.

By earning Academic All-District® recognition, Oakes, Tullis, Feuer, and Klunder advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on January 13, 2026.

This recognition underscores the Division III philosophy of placing the highest priority on the overall quality of the educational experience.
