NORTHAMPTON - The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) has named Brooke Testa (Pittstown, NJ/Delaware Valley) as their women's lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week, it was announced Monday. 

Testa totaled 17 saves in two wins for the Smith College lacrosse team. She made eight stops without allowing a goal in 30 minutes of action against Emmanuel and saved nine shots in Smith's 11-10 victory over Western New England.
