NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its latest Division III Women's National Team Rankings on Wednesday, with Smith College earning the No. 34 spot in the country.

The Bears (3-5) have tested themselves against a rigorous national schedule early this spring. The ranking follows a strong showing during their California spring break trip and a statement 5-2 victory over then-No. 29 Skidmore in February. Led by senior mainstays Ayla Hauser (Knoxville, TN/Bearden) and Heidi Cambron (Sherbrooke, Canada/Champlain College Lennoxville), the Bears have consistently proven they can compete with the best in the region.

Smith returns to NEWMAC play this Friday, March 27, when they host No. 11 Babson College at 4:00 PM.
