Smith College tennis student-athlete
Ayla Hauser (Knoxville, TN/Bearden) was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, recognizing her accomplishments on the court and in the classroom.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-America® honors, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average, be at least a sophomore academically and either be a starter or significant reserve who competed in at least 70 percent of their institution's contests during the 2025-26 academic year.
The CSC Academic All-District program recognizes student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and academically throughout the season.
Hauser played in the No. 1 singles position throughout the year and finished with a 6-8 overall record. She teamed up with
Natazya Simunyola (Lorton, VA/South County High School)Â in the No. 2 doubles slot to earn NEWMAC All-Conference honors with a 10-2 record.Â
The Smith College tennis team advanced to the semifinals of the NEWMAC Tournament and finished with a 9-9 record this season.
