MARLBOROUGH - Smith College lacrosse placed four student-athletes on the NEWMAC All-Conference teams, highlighted by two First Team selections, the league announced on Wednesday morning.
Senior midfielder
Caroline Sanders (Orange County, CA/Santa Margarita Catholic) and junior attached
Kyra Hawk (San Jose, CA/The Harker School) earned First Team honors, while junior defender
Leigh Hillmanno (Yardville, NJ/Princeton Day School) and senior goalkeeper
Brooke Testa (Pittstown, NJ/Delaware Valley) were named to the Second Team.
Caroline Sanders (Orange County, CA/Santa Margarita Catholic)
- 2026 NEWMAC All-Conference First Team
- Tallied 38 goals and 20 assists for 58 points
- Led the team in draw controls (86), caused turnovers (23), and ground balls (42)
- Recorded her 200th career point against MIT
- Previous NEWMAC honors: All-Conference First Team (2025)
Kyra Hawk (San Jose, CA/The Harker School)
- 2026 NEWMAC All-Conference First Team
- Led the team with 59 goals and added eight assists for 67 points
- Recorded her 200th career point against Emerson
- Totaled a career-high 7 goals against Mount Holyoke
- Previous NEWMAC honors: All-Conference Second Team (2025)
Leigh Hillmanno (Yardville, NJ/Princeton Day School)
- 2026 NEWMAC All-Conference Second Team
- Started 17-of-18 games on defense for Smith
- Finished the year with 20 caused turnovers and 23 ground balls
Brooke Testa (Pittstown, NJ/Delaware Valley)
- 2026 NEWMAC All-Conference Second Team
- Totaled 118 saves
- Surpassed 400 saves for her career
- Posted a 10.97 goals against average and .468 save percentage
