Adriane Krul

Adriane Krul will enter her second year as a graduate assistant coach with the Smith College softball program during the 2018-19 academic year. While assisting head coach Emily Lopez, Krul will be working to obtain a Master's in Exercise and Sport Studies.

She spent two years at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, CT where she taught algebra in addition to serving as head softball coach and assistant field hockey coach.

Krul graduated from Bowdoin College in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Gender and Women’s Studies, and minoring in Mathematics. Krul was an active member of the Bowdoin Queer-Straight Alliance and was committed to providing a safe space for everyone on campus. Krul also played third base for the Polar Bears softball team, served as captain during her last season, and earned First Team and Second Team All-Conference Honors, and an All-Academic nod during her career. She tied the Bowdoin record for most doubles in a single season in her junior year, only to break that record the following spring.
