First Year (2013): Started all 31 games…accounted for both Pioneer triples on the season (against Brockport (3/17) and at Babson (4/20))…smacked doubles against St. Joseph’s (Bklyn) (3/17) and against Western New England (4/16)…stole seven bases on 10 attempts…four multiple hit games, including back-to-back games against Wellesley (4/6) and Westfield State (4/9)…struck out nine in nine innings pitched…Before Smith: New York State Section 1 All-League in 2012...an AP Scholar in 2011...New York State Public High School Athletic Association Scholar Athlete in 2011 and 2012...2012 Cum Laude in National Latin Exam...Recipient of Arturo Toscanini Orchestral Studies Award in 2012.
