Jeannette Boudway enters her fifth year at the helm of the Smith College soccer program in 2022. Returning to campus in 2021, the Pioneers earned two United Soccer Coaches regional rankings for the first time in program history and produced key wins to continue building the strength of the program.
In addition to her coaching duties, Boudway teaches Sport Leadership to graduate assistant coaches pursuing their Master's in Sport & Exercise Science at Smith. She is the liaison between Smith Athletics & Nutrition and is on the Be Bold Sport Leadership Committee, working to create opportunities for student-athletes to learn and build leadership skills prior to their graduation.
Jeannette and her husband, Ryan, are both passionate about working in college athletics and providing access to positive role models for their three young children. Jeannette is a graduate of the 2019 NCAA Women Coaches Academy class #47 and the 2022 WeCoach 2.0 class #5 held in Denver, CO. The NCAA Women Coaches Academy, hosted in partnership between WeCOACH and the NCAA, is a 3-day educational training available to NCAA coaches of all experience levels, and is designed for women coaches who are ready to increase their individual effectiveness by learning advanced skills and strategies that directly affect their personal and team success.

During her first season as the Head Coach of the Pioneers, Boudway finished with an 8-10 overall and 3-7 conference record.

Playing Career
Boudway played Division I soccer in Conference USA at DePaul University. During her four years as a Blue Demon, Boudway was one of the top players on the team and a two year captain. As a first-year, Boudway received All-Conference honors as Third Team member. She went on to finish her career netting 14 goals (9th All-Time at DePaul) and earning 35 points (12th All-Time at Depaul).
Prior to Smith
Boudway comes to Smith after having coached at the Division I, II, & III levels.
Boudway landed in New England for the first time as she became as a two-year Assistant Coach for Amherst College. In her time at Amherst, the Mammoths were the 2016 NESCAC Champions and made it to the Sweet Sixteen of the 2016 NCAA Soccer Championship. Boudway coached five All-Conference players and one All-American at Amherst.
Prior to moving to Massachusetts, Boudway served as the Volunteer Assistant Coach and subsequently as the Coordinator of Soccer Operations at the University of Notre Dame. Her responsibilities included video coordination, team travel, equipment, budgeting, and on-campus recruiting, as well as assisting with team marketing and promotions, and oversight of the Notre Dame summer soccer camps. She helped the Fighting Irish to a 78-14-6 record and three NCAA College Cup appearances, including two Final Fours and one National Championship in 2010. While assisting the Fighting Irish, Boudway also coached a local FC team, the Indiana Invaders.
In 2005, Boudway became the Assistant Coach and Assistant Camp Director position at DI, University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her DI background, desire to learn and commitment to the game of soccer found to be a positive influence on the team as she helped the Blazers to the C-USA Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Championship while coaching seven All-Conference and two All-Region student-athletes. In addition to her on-field responsibilities, Boudway focused on recruiting, video breakdown, budgeting, youth and team camp operations.
