NORTHAMPTON, Mass.--This Saturday marks the beginning of the 2011-12 season for the Smith College squash team, as they participate in the Guy Fawkes Challenge at Vassar College.  In addition to facing the hosts, the Pioneers will take on Haverford College.

Last Meeting (Vassar): In the Pioneers' first home match of the season, Smith fell to the Brewers 6-3 on November 18, 2010. 

Last Smith Win (Vassar): Smith beat Vassar most recently at the Williams Invitational, scoring an 8-1 win on January 16, 2000.

Last Meeting (Haverford): Smith lost to Haverford 6-3 in the Epps Division of the Howe Cup on February 15, 2009.

Last Smith Win (Haverford): Smith beat the Fords in the opening round of the Howe Cup on February 16, 2007.
