NORTHAMPTON, Mass.--After 11 matches away from home, the Smith College squash team (5-6) will make their home debut when they host Amherst College (1-1) at 6 p.m. on Wednesday night.  This will also be Smith's final match before the end of the semester, as Sunday's match against Northeastern University has been cancelled.

Last Meeting:  Amherst earned an 8-1 win over Smith on December 8, 2010.  Clair Oblamski (Brookfield, Wis./Brookfield East) earned Smith's lone point with a 11-8, 11-6, 11-3 win over Mimi Bell at No. 2.

Last Smith Win: Smith has not beaten Amherst since a 7-0 win on February 26, 1985. 

Did you know? No member of the Smith College squash team was born the last time Smith beat Amherst.  Head coach Tim Bacon would not be hired at Smith for another nine years.
