NORTHAMPTON, Mass.--The Smith College squash team faced off against Connecticut College and Drexel University at the Smith College Invitational on Saturday.

Facing the Drexel Dragons in the opener, Smith fell 9-0.  All matches went three sets save for No. 1, where Jacquline Zhou fell 11-9, 6-11, 9-11, 11-13.  The Pioneers then moved to the consolation round semifinal against Connecticut College, where Smith suffered an 8-1 defeat.  Zhou picked up the lone point for Smith with her fifth win of the year, notching an 3-11, 11-7, 11-2, 11-7 win at No. 1.

Smith will face the University of California in the third/fourth place match of the consolation bracket on Sunday.
