Julia Hamilton (Williamstown, Mass./Deerfield Academy) added two goals and an assist to pace the Smith College Pioneers in their 20-6 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) loss to the MIT Engineers Wednesday night.
Goals from six different players moved MIT's overall record to 9-2, and 3-1 in NEWMAC play, while Smith slips to 3-9 and 0-4 in conference play.
Lillquist led the Pioneers with three goals on four shots and now has eight goals in the past three games. Â and her 147 career points leave her just three points shy of fourth all-time in school history.

Petru Bester (Deep River, Conn./Valley Regional) scored her 17
th of the season, while junior
Rachel Silveria (Dunstable, Mass./Groton-Dunstable) added an assist and is now one point shy from becoming the 11th member of Smith's 100-point club.
MIT first-year Emily Young (La Jolla, Calif.) led all scorers with eight points on five goals and a career-high three assists, while junior Isabella DiDio finished with five goals and an assist for the Engineers.
DiDio netted four of her goals during MIT's 15-0 run that spanned 26 minutes and extended MIT's lead to 18-3 with 17:54 remaining in the contest.
First-year Katie Notarangelo (Foxboro, Mass.) tallied four goals, while classmate Ashley Masucci (Windham, N.H.) added three goals and three assists. Sophomore Hannah Levy (Yardley, Pa.) chipped in two goals and three assists, and junior Kristyn Berretta (San Diego, Calif.) scored her seventh goal of the season in the win.
First-year
Sarah Price (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson) made 12 saves in goal for Smith, while fellow first-year Eva Boul (Princeton, N.J.) made six stops for MIT.
The Engineers return to action on Friday, March 10 when they host Gordon College, while the Pioneers travel to Babson College on Saturday to take on the Beavers. Â
