Last Meeting
First-year Kennedy Guest-Pritchett (Fairburn, GA/The Lawrenceville School) recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 22 points and 14 rebounds as Smith went on the road and defeated Wheaton, 77-74 on January 16, 2016. 

The Series
This is the 51st meeting in a series that dates back to the 1981 season. Wheaton holds a 31-19 advantage but the Pioneers have won seven of the last nine meetings. 

The Lyons
Wheaton (13-6, 6-4 NEWMAC) has won three-straight with their last loss coming against Smith on January 16. In Wednesday's 65-52 win over Clark, Rebecca Arnone finished with a game-high 17 points and nine rebounds, while Alyssa Almario added 14 points, five boards and three steals. Kiley Shoemaker is second in the NEWMAC in points per game (16.3), tied for first in rebounds (9.3), and is shooting 48.8 percent from the field. Jill Bodreau (32.4%) and Arnone (30.8%) are two of the top five three-point shooters in the conference. The Lyons verage 64.0 points per game and are shooting 37.3 percent from the field and 29.2 percent from behind the arc. 

The Pioneers
Smith (7-11, 4-6) looks to bounce back from their 75-65 loss to Coast Guard and aims to sweep the season series against Wheaton. In the loss against the Bears, first-year guard Lauren Bondi (Burnaby, BC, Can./Notre Dame Secondary) scored a career-high 23 points while Guest-Pritchett added 15 points and nine rebounds. Guest-Pritchett leads the NEWMAC with 9.3 rebounds per game and is third in field goal percentage (49.5%), while Bondi (36.0%) is third in the conference in three-point shooting percentage. The Pioneers score 62.4 points per game and are connecting on 36.4 percent from the field and 30.2 percent from long distance.
