THE SERIES
The game marks the 27th all-time meeting between the two programs, dating back to the first contest in 1991 - a 1-0 Clark victory. The Pioneers have outscored the Cougars 15-3 over the last three meetings.
LAST MEETING
Julia Hamilton (Williamstown, Mass./Deerfield Academy) finished with two goals and an assist as Smith College spoiled senior day for Clark University with a convincing 5-1 win over the Cougars on October 31, 2015.
PLAYOFF IMPLICATIONS
The Pioneers can lock up the #2 seed in the upcoming conference tournament with a win over Clark and a Babson victory against MIT.
SCOUTING THE COUGARS
Clark enters Saturday's game after falling to Wellesley, 3-2, in overtime last Saturday. The Cougars trailed 2-0 before tallies from Liz Grady and Alyssa Williams tied the contest. Olivia Barksdale leads the Cougars with 11 goals, four assists for 26 points, while Williams and senior Lauren Mackey each have five assists. Sophomore goalkeeper Dani Michaud owns a 3.13 goals against average and .646 save percentage. Clark averages 1.8 goals per game and was picked to finish ninth in the Preseason Coaches Poll.
SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
Smith hosts Clark in the final home game of the regular season Saturday. The Pioneers played a hard-fought game against Keene State Wednesday evening, resulting in a 2-1 loss. Sophomore midfielder

Cameo Tietje (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) recorded three saves. Hamilton (10-3-23), senior
Elsie Odhiambo (Oyugis, Kenya/Kisumu Girls School) (5-2-12) and sophomore
Emily Biggs (Florence, Mass./Northampton) (4-0-8) have combined to score eight game-winning goals, while sophomore
Bayleigh Bogan (Encinitas, Calif./La Costa Canyon) (2-5-9) leads the team in assists. Tietje, who tops the conference with 122 saves, has posted a 2.85 goals against average and a .761 save percentage this season. The Pioneers average 1.65 goals per game and were selected to finish fifth in the Preseason Coaches Poll.
