Basketball to Host 24th Annual Tyler Tip-Off Tournament

November 18, 2016

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Smith College will host the 24th Annual Tyler Tip-Off Basketball Tournament this Saturday and Sunday, November 19 and 20. The tournament this year features Colby-Sawyer College, Daniel Webster College, Salem State University as well as Smith College.

TOURNAMENT PROGRAM

The Tyler Tip-Off was named in 1992 to honor the memory of one of Smith's brightest scholar athletes. Kim Tyler was a standout basketball player, a successful student, and a wonderful teammate. Her passing during her first year at Smith was a sad moment in Smith basketball history but an occurrence that has since sparked an outpouring of love and remembrance for Kim and her family.
