NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - The Smith College tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to Regis College during a Sunday matinee match at the Indoor Track and Tennis Facility. With the win, the Pride earn their 15th win of the season, while the Pioneers drop to 4-7 overall.

Noa Dubin (Southampton, N.Y./Southampton) and No. 2
Samantha Peikes (West Hartford, Conn./Watkinson School) won their matches 6-0, 6-4 and 6-1, 6-0, respectively. Dubin played a flawless first set, using the drop shot to near perfection, while Peikes handled the slice of her opponent with her dependable ground strokes and effective approach and volley.
Dubin and Peikes teamed up to grab the No. 1 doubles point, defeating their opponent 8-4.
Senior
Sarah Cassidy-Seyoum (Woodbury, Conn.) made her debut at No. 6 singles, falling 7-5, 6-1.
The deciding point came at No. 5 singles.
Smith returns to the court on Saturday, March 26 when the Pioneers host Simmons at 11:00 a.m.
