THE SERIES
The game marks the 71st meeting between the two programs, dating back to the first contest during the 1974-75 season - a 62-34 Smith victory.
LAST MEETING
The Pioneers shot 51.6 percent from the field en route to an 80-31 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) win over Mount Holyoke College on January 20, 2016. First year
Kennedy Guest-Pritchett (Fairburn, Ga./The Lawrenceville School) finished in double figures for the fifth consecutive game to lead Smith with 16 points on 8-of-11 shooting, seven rebounds, and two assists.

SCOUTING THE LYONS
Mount Holyoke (2-7, 0-3) looks for their first NEWMAC win of the season Wednesday evening against the Pioneers. The Lyons last played on December 10, a 63-28 loss to St. Joseph University. In that game, senior captain Xajaah Williams-Flores posted a career-high 17 rebounds and scored a team-high eight points. First year Kathryn Violette leads the team in scoring with 9.2 points per game while Williams-Flores is second with 9.1 points and grabs 9.6 rebounds per contest. MHC averages 39.4 points per game and was picked to finish 11th in the NEWMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
Smith (8-3, 1-2) looks to win their fifth consecutive game for the first time since the 2013-14 season when the Pioneers won eight-straight. Smith is back on the court after last night's 64-48 victory over Middlebury where Guest-Pritchett totaled 15 points and eight rebounds. Junior guard
Meghan Holland (Atherton, Calif./Sacred Heart Prepatory) had a productive night off the bench to total six points, five assists, and three boards. Guest-Pritchett ranks in the top-6 of the NEWMAC in points per game (14.7) and rebounds per game (11.1) and was named to the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Honor Roll on Monday. Sophomore guard
Erin Hanley (San Francisco, Calif./St. Ignatius College Prepatory) averages 11.5 points, 6.1 rebounds per game while Holland leads the team with 2.8 assists. Smith welcomes sophomore transfer
Stephanie Foukaris (Nicosia, Cyprus/Pascal English School Nicosia) who played her freshman year at UMass Amherst during the 2015-16 season. Head Coach
Lynn Hersey won her 150th career game in Tuesday's win over Middlebury. The Pioneers have the league's fifth-highest scoring offense averaging 68.3 points per game and were voted to finish fifth in the Preseason Coaches' Poll.
