THE SERIES
The game marks the 52nd meeting between the two programs, dating back to the first contest during the 1981 season - a 55-52 Wheaton victory. The Lyons lead the series 32-19 and the two teams split decisions last season.

Lauren Bondi (Burnaby, BC, Can./Notre Dame Secondary) tied her career-high with 23 points, but it was not enough as Smith College fell to Wheaton College, 83-74 in overtime on January 30, 2016.

Kennedy Guest-Pritchett (Fairburn, Ga./The Lawrenceville School) recorded her fifth double-double of the season as the Pioneers went on the road and defeated Wheaton, 77-74, on January 16, 2016.
SCOUTING THE LYONS
Wheaton (4-19, 2-12) enters tonight's game on a three-game losing streak after suffering a 66-57 overtime defeat to Coast Guard Wednesday evening. The Lyons were paced by first-year Natalie Wind who netted 17 points off the bench, while senior Sophia Black ended the night with 15 points in her final regular season home game. Black leads Wheaton averaging 10.3 points per game while Oppie Morris pulls down a team-high 6.2 rebounds per contest. The Lyons offense averages 54.0 points per game and were picked to finish seventh in the NEWMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
Smith (15-7, 7-6) will play their final home game of the regular season Saturday against Wheaton College. The Pioneers are coming off a 67-42 win over Wellesley Wednesday night to sweep the season series. In that game, twelve different players scored for Smith led by Guest-Pritchett's 12 points and seven rebounds. Guest-Pritchett ranks in the top-5 of the NEWMAC in points per game (14.7), rebounds per game (10.2), and field goal percentage (49.8) while sophomore guard
