HOW IT HAPPENED
Both teams exchanged goals early on to make it a 2-2 game 22:53 mark of the first half. Wellesley then went on a streak of seven-straight goals over the next 11:24 to take a 9-2 lead. The Pioneers and Blue would each score two goals to close out the period for an 11-5 Wellesley lead at the half.

Trailing 13-6 Myran jumpstarted the Pioneer offense with her tally at the 20:54 mark and Smith would go on to score three of the next four goals to cut the deficit to four (14-10). The Blue went on a run that was too much for the Pioneers to make up as Wellesley went on for the 20-13 final.
