Callahan and Covarrubias pushed the Lyon lead to 7-3 to start the second half but Smith pulled within two goals over the next nine minutes with goals from
Chloe Harris (Alexandria, Va./West Potomac)Â and Biggs. Peters final goal of the game made the score 8-5 in favor of the visitors but the Pioneers would fight for two more goals to make it 8-7 as Hamilton found the back of the net with 58 seconds on the clock.
