The Smith College soccer team was dealt a 3-1 loss by Springfield College Tuesday afternoon in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference matchup.

GAME NOTES

• Springfield outshot Smith 28-12 over 90 minutes of play and held a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks
• In the opening half, sophomore goalkeeper Naomi Falkenberg (Sutton, Mass./Sutton) made eight saves, while Noemi Howland (South Pasadena, Calif./South Pasadena) stopped seven shots in the second half
• The Pride own a 16-8-3 series advantage over the Pioneers
