ENGLEWOOD, Fla. - Nine different players scored to lead the Smith College lacrosse team to a 21-13 victory over Fredonia on Monday evening. The Pioneers are off to their best start in program history at 4-0.
SMITH HIGHLIGHTS
- Chloe Harris (Alexandria, Va./West Potomac) led the offensive effort with five goals.
- Bella Ferraro (Orange, Conn./Amity) finished four goals and was 2-for-2 on free position attempts to go along with four draw controls.
- Goalkeeper Abby Edwards (New York, N.Y./Stuyvesant) made her first appearance of the season, earning the win and making three saves.
Smith produced 30 shots compared to the blue Devil's 18, as the Pioneers also hauled in 17 draw controls to Fredonia's 13. Smith also owned the ground-ball battle, picking up seven to Fredonia's five.
